Ikebana- Shinputai

Ikenobo Ikebana, Shoka shinputai style, Heliconia
Shoka Shinputai

Ikenobo Ikebana- shola shinputai style.

The main intention is to focus on orange tall flowers. It brings brightness and sharpness. On the other hand, a big flat leave on the right makes a contrast with the 2 thin stems.

Easter arrangement

Easter themed arr
In usual college class, I made a circular arrangement with Easter accessories. The round shape means endless, which connects to the idea of Easter- the rebirth.

Materials.

Put weaved leaves into the centre area.

I put focal flowers firstly. The ratio is 3:5:8. I feel it was mistake to put 2 groups of roses on a same line. It was better to be put slightly of the line.

Covering the foam by foliage and moss.

L shape with carnations

L shape arrangement

With 5 carnations, I made a greenish arrangement. Cherry blossoms shape the outline.

Materials.

Making outline by carnations.

Put pink spray rose to add colour contrast.

Beautiful yellow leaves.

Beautiful pink

made a bunch
I walked around Writtle College. Just behind a tennis court, I found beautiful pink flowers. I do not know the name.

I made a bunch for a next hall, Maddison 2. The filler foliage is Hebe, of course picked them up in the campus.

Red hand tied

Red gorgeous hand tied

With my advice on, my friend tried making hand tied. Though it was just 2nd time, she managed to make a big and gorgeous bouquet.

Velvet celosia and popping out sea holly are making a lovely contrast. Also the green adds absolutely gorgeousness.

How to exact the beauty of calla?

Shoka Shinputai with calla lily

Ikenobo Ikebana- Shoka Shinputai style.

The ideas is a contrast between surface and line. Aspidistra elatior shows a shiny surface. On the other hand, calla lilies have thin stems. It looks like as if the 2 materials make a very thins oval.

From right bottom to left up, transition of thickness adds interest on the whole design. The surface is big, stems of calla are elegantly thin and grass is thinnest. This transition can also seen as another contrast.

Spring colour: Yellow

A hand tied in a cubic container
Maybe it is only in Spring when I like yellow colours. The colour shines so naturally during March. I also like yellow in daffodil.

  • A hand tied shown above is place at a kitchen room in a residence.
  • One shown below is given to my flatmate.

Posy

Posy for wedding
I made a lovely posy in college. The design is basically for bride mades, which means it can be a little bit small.

It must be nice and secured so that it would not be ruined during wedding.

Why feel comfortable by flowers?

A room with flowers
It is said that flowers which are put in a room have an effect in sharing space such as:

  • Dining room in home
  • Reception at office

People are likely to feel comfortable if flowers are put in same space. In terms of communication, something common works between 2 guys. For example, common hobby like sports would enable to guys talk a lot about it. It happens in information space. So does happen in physical space. Flowers can work as common stuff between people and encourage them to communicate easily and comfortably.

private diary

One year has past. Last end of February, I graduated from a language school in Manchester(http://www.ef.co.uk/ilsd/schools/uk/manchester/).

What has not changed is that I am still in the UK.

On the other hand, what have change is that I am confident of using time wisely. With a certain mind kept in mind, I spend every single day towards a target which I have set since 2014.

I wonder what I would feel a year later. To feel what I felt today in 2016, I wanna keep calm and carry on.
